Yesterday, here in Canada, was Victoria Day. It is a federal Canadian Statutory holiday celebrated on the last Monday on or before May 24 in honor of Queen Victoria's birthday. It also informally marks the beginning of the summer season in Canada. Victoria Day is usually celebrated with fireworks. Now although it was quite an unstable day weather wise yesterday, raining, thunderstorms and wind, the evening held up just fine. We headed out to a small city called Nobleton where the firemen raise money through donations and sponsors and put on an outstanding display of fireworks in their local park. You just show up with a blanket and your lawn chair and your good to go. I took some photos and videos of the display. This year they even had a laser show alongside the fireworks. They always do a spectacular job!
