Queen Anne's Lace

We know who she is. We've all seen her around. In fact, she's everywhere these days. Yup, those pesky plants we call WEEDS! Those weeds we curse because they grow everywhere and we keep pulling them out of our gardens but can't seem to keep up with their rapid growth. Well, if I had to pick a favorite "weed", the Queen Anne's Lace (also known as the Wild Carrot), would be the one. I actually think they are beautifully interesting with it's tiny white flowers and lacy appearance.  I love how they furl up into "birds nest" clusters. I took these photos at dawn while fooling around with my camera settings.

pretty for a weed don't you think?
