Yesterday was our (Canadian) Thanksgiving which occurs on the second Monday in October and is celebrated giving thanks at the close of the harvest season. This has to be my favorite time of year. The weather in October is still warm, (especially this past weekend) which was unseasonable HOT, but for me it is the stunning display of fall colors that the leaves produce before they let go from the firm grasp of the branches and finally lay down to rest.
We celebrated with family and also headed North to enjoy the warm weather and take in all the glorious colors along the country roads.
Here is a series of collages from the weekend...
Have a great day :)
