The Distillery District Stroll

Yesterday, my husband and I took advantage of the superbly gorgeous weather we have been enjoying hear in Toronto this year. November usually isn't this warm, in fact, we generally can count on seeing snow and much colder temperatures at this time. We left the kids behind to do their homework and took off for a drive to the Distillery District which is within walking distance to downtown Toronto. The Distillery District is an internationally acclaimed village of brick-lined streets with dozens of beautifully restored Victorian Industrial buildings. This district was once the Gooderham and Worts Distillery back in the early 1800"s. The area is host to numerous galleries, shops, cafes, live theatre and wonderful restaurants. It is completely closed off to traffic so you can stroll around at your leisure and take in the sites.

Have a great day!
